The hole spacing of the mounting plate is 17mm, so the original holes of the \u003cstrong\u003eK2 skate \u003c\/strong\u003ecan be reused for riveting.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe buckle set can also be used for\u003cstrong\u003e Salomon skates \u003c\/strong\u003e. The ratchet strap is 200 mm long and 17mm wide and therefore fits into the existing holder. However, the original rivet hole spacing of the mounting plate on Salomon skates is only 15mm, so the rear rivet hole is used and a 2nd hole has to be newly drilled in the cuff for riveting. \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eWith other \u003cstrong\u003eskate models\u003c\/strong\u003e the rivet holes may have to be drilled completely anew. However, the ratchet strap set can then usually still be fitted as a replacement.
