Changing Wheels

Inline skate wheels wear down over time. Depending on the skater's weight and technique, the wheels of inline skates may wear unevenly and develop a "wobble". By this point at the latest, it is time to rotate the inline wheels so that they can wear evenly again and the wheels last as long as possible.

The video shows step by step the best way to change the wheels of an inline skate and how to swap the positions of the individual skate wheels.

• Remove the third and the first wheel of your skate
• Swap the positions of the first and third wheels, turning the wheels over as you do so
• Remove the second and fourth wheel of your skate
• Swap the position of the second wheel with the fourth, turning the wheels over as you do so
• If the wheels are too worn or show other damage, you need new wheels for inline skates
