Speed skater on a country road in the evening sun

Speed fitness skates

Buy speed fitness skates: inline skates with technology from racing and the comfort for long tours. Choose between 3- and 4-wheel setups from K2, Powerslide and Bont.

Here the speed fitness skater gets the know-how and technology from many years of experience in racing, along with the comfort they expect. In the speed fitness category you will find the right inline skate. The new generation of 3-wheel technology has expanded the speed fitness range, which now offers the right version for every skater.

Buy speed fitness skates: fast and comfortable

Speed fitness skates are made for anyone who wants to skate fast and over longer distances without sacrificing comfort. Unlike a pure speed skate, many models have a higher cuff that supports the ankle, and a padded liner. The wheels are larger than on recreational skates and therefore run more smoothly. In this category you will find models from K2, Powerslide, Rollerblade and Bont.

Three or four wheels?

With speed fitness skates you can choose between many setups. Four 90 mm wheels, as on the K2 VO2 S 90 or the women's models K2 Helena 90 and K2 Alexis 90 Boa, are a good start. With 4 x 100 mm or 4 x 110 mm, the speed increases. Three wheels make the frame shorter and the skate more manoeuvrable: the Rollerblade Macroblade 100 3WD runs on 3 x 100 mm, the Powerslide R4 on 3 x 110 mm and the K2 Redline 125 on 3 x 125 mm.

What to look out for

Closure: In addition to buckles and laces, some models such as the K2 VO2 S 100 Boa use a dial closure that lets you close the boot quickly and evenly.
Brake: Especially with large wheels, a brake makes sense for beginners. For skates with 125 mm wheels there is, for example, the Powerslide Brake 125mm.
Boot without frame: If you put your setup together yourself, you will also find boots without frames with the Bont Semi Race and the ProSkate En-try.
