Protective gear for inline skaters: helmets, pads and protective pants

A fall on asphalt happens faster than you think, even to experienced skaters. With the right protective gear, the consequences can usually be reduced considerably. In this collection you will find helmets, knee and elbow pads, gloves and padded shorts from Powerslide, Rollerblade, K2 and Ennui, for adults and for kids.

What protective gear do you need?

• Helmet: it belongs on every skate, whether a short loop or a marathon. The choice includes the Rollerblade Strike Helmet, the Powerslide Fitness Basic Helmet and the Powerslide Race Attack for speed skaters. You will find all models under helmets.
• Knee and elbow pads: for speed skaters there are slim models such as the Powerslide Race PRO Knee Pads and Elbow Pads, which are hardly noticeable under racing clothing.
• Gloves: in a fall, you usually catch yourself with your hands. Race gloves such as the Ennui Race Gloves or the Powerslide Race Gloves PRO reduce the risk of grazes on the palms.
• Protective pants: padded shorts such as the Powerslide Protective Pant in the STANDARD, PRO and JUNIOR versions cushion the hips and tailbone in sideways and backward falls.

Protection for kids

Kids fall more often while learning, so full protection is particularly important here. The K2 Protection Sets junior Girls and Boys combine several pads in one set. Combined with a well-fitting helmet, your child is well equipped for their first laps. When kids grow out of them, you should replace the pads in good time, as pads that are too small slip or constrict.

Check the fit
