90 mm wheels for fitness and speed fitness skates
A 90 mm diameter marks the point at which inline skates run noticeably faster and more smoothly. Many fitness and speed fitness skates come with four 90 mm wheels as standard. This size is a good compromise for longer tours: enough speed to cover distance, yet still manageable in corners and when braking. Here you will find replacement wheels from Hyper and Powerslide.
Hyper Stripe or Powerslide Infinity?
The Hyper Stripe 90 mm has a hardness of 85A. This is a medium hardness that offers a good mix of grip, cushioning and durability on normal asphalt. The Powerslide Infinity 90 mm is designed for bearings in the 608 format, so you can reuse your existing bearings. Which wheel suits you better depends on your skating style and the surfaces you skate on.
For which skates?
- Fitness skates with 4 x 90 mm, for example from the collection 4 x 90 mm wheels
- Speed fitness skates, designed for 90 mm
- Skates whose frame is approved for up to 90 mm and that have so far been used with smaller wheels
Tip for changing wheels
Always replace all the wheels on a skate at the same time so that the skate sits evenly. In between, you should rotate the wheels to compensate for one-sided wear. If you have any questions about the right hardness, you can reach us by phone on +49 (0) 77 20 / 34 70 6.
