Buy kids' inline skates: adjustable and safe
Children's feet grow quickly. That is why many kids' inline skates can be adjusted in length and fit several shoe sizes. This saves frequent new purchases and ensures that the skate fits well. After all, a skate that is too big gives too little support and makes learning harder. For the first attempts, a flat, smooth surface without traffic is ideal, such as an empty square or a quiet path.

Choosing the right size
Measure your child's foot length while standing, ideally with socks on. With adjustable skates, choose a setting that the foot fits into without the toes touching the front. Check the fit regularly and adjust the skate one size up when needed. Feel free to ask your child whether the skate pinches anywhere. You will find more advice in the guide Finding the right inline skate size.
Don't forget protective gear
Falls are part of learning, especially at the beginning. A helmet and pads for wrists, elbows and knees should therefore always be worn. Helmets and Pads are also available from us, with tips on choosing them in the guide Protective gear for inline skating.
