Buy classic skateboards: the board for tricks
The classic skateboard is the starting point for jumps, grinds and slides. Typical features are the narrow, evenly shaped deck with an upturned nose and upturned tail, plus a slight curve in the middle known as the concave. What makes the classic skateboard
- Kicktails: The nose and tail let you lift and turn the board. This is the basis for the ollie and many other tricks.
- Hard, small wheels: They roll fast and direct and are suitable for smooth surfaces in the skatepark or on squares.
- Low weight: A short deck is easy to carry and quick to turn.
Starting well prepared
Falls are part of learning new tricks in particular. A helmet as well as knee and elbow pads protect against the typical injuries; you will find a selection in our Pads and in Skateboard accessories.
