Fitting a Brake

The video shows step by step how to attach and fit a brake together with its housing to an inline skate such as the Rollerblade Tempest 110.

Here are the individual steps for fitting the brake to the inline skate once more in detail:

• Use the tool supplied to remove the last two wheels of the skate
• Loosen the rear mounting screw of the frame anticlockwise
• Slide the brake housing together with the brake into the channel provided on the frame
• Now reattach the frame to the boot using the long screw and the washer
• Make absolutely sure that the correct (long) screw is used
• Then refit the 3rd and 4th wheels to the inline frame
• Tighten the long screw for the rear 4th wheel clockwise
• Now secure the housing from the opposite side with the washer and screw
