A complete speed skate comes with frame, wheels, bearings and axles already fitted. You don't have to choose any parts individually and can start skating straight away. This is particularly practical for getting into speed skating or if you are looking for a setup in which all components are matched to one another.

What to look for when buying
A speed skate fits much more tightly than a recreational or fitness skate. The boot is cut low and supports the ankle less, but in return it transfers your power directly to the frame. So allow for a period of getting used to it and make sure the fit is precise.
