Description
The ratchet strap set fits many common inline skates that are fitted with cuff ratchet straps, e.g. K2, Salomon, Fila, Rollerblade etc. The ratchet strap is intended for the cuff area and consists of 2 ratchet straps right/left and rivets.
The strap is original K2 and can be fitted to those K2 models that have cuff straps. The hole spacing of the mounting plate is 17mm, so the original holes of the K2 skate can be reused for riveting.
The buckle set can also be used for Salomon skates . The ratchet strap is 200 mm long and 17mm wide and therefore fits into the existing holder. However, the original rivet hole spacing of the mounting plate on Salomon skates is only 15mm, so the rear rivet hole is used and a 2nd hole has to be newly drilled in the cuff for riveting.
With other skate models the rivet holes may have to be drilled completely anew. However, the ratchet strap set can then usually still be fitted as a replacement. The picture differs from the current set!
