Buy a snowboard helmet: Trans helmets as clearance items
A helmet is part of the basic equipment for snowboarding, on the piste as well as in the fun park. From our clearance sale, the Snowboard Helmet Trans 360 and the Trans 1080 are still available. Not every model is still in stock in all sizes.
The right helmet size
Measure your head circumference with a tape measure about a finger's width above your eyebrows and around the widest point at the back of your head. The helmet should sit firmly without pressing and should not shift when you shake your head. Ideally, try it on with the hat or balaclava you want to wear underneath and together with your Ski goggles: there should be no large gap between the goggle frame and the edge of the helmet.
Good to know
A helmet should be replaced after a hard impact, even if no damage is visible from the outside. Winter sports helmets are covered by the EN 1077 standard, helmets for inline skating and cycling by EN 1078. For summer on wheels, you will find models among our inline skating Helmets.
